Jochem Vlek has extensive experience in complex cross-border litigation matters, including class actions and Supreme Court litigation. Particularly, Jochem often advises and acts as counsel in proceedings related to enforcement of foreign judgments and awards, and other private international (procedural) law issues. He has represented clients from various industries, including tech, finance, retail and insurance. Jochem holds a PhD in private international law from VU University Amsterdam and regularly lectures and publishes on private international law. He is also a member of the Dutch Standing Government Committee on Private International Law.
