Bette van den Biggelaar joined STAUNCH in 2026. Bette acts for clients in litigation in arbitration cases. Bette studied at the University of Amsterdam where she completed an LLM in International Trade & Investment Law (cum laude). She also studied at Columbia Law School in New York where she took courses in dispute resolution, including arbitration and negotiation, and human rights law.  During her studies, Bette took part in prestigious moot court competitions such as the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court as well as the Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court.
